Electronic water meters are used to account for the consumption of cold and hot water, in water supply systems in individual houses, apartments, offices and administrative buildings.
The water meter consists of a housing with a chamber in which an impeller with a magnet and an electronic counting mechanism are installed.
The calculator is mounted on the housing and attached to it with a transparent protective cover. The indicator device is an 8–bit liquid crystal display.
